Despite the attempted takedown, The Pirate Bay was up and running within hours.
They are down now, but only because their new host is having problems with their Fiber.
Even if the take down was ever successful, some other 12 year old would throw up a copy of the site (since the site in its entirety can be downloaded).

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke said that the U.S. economy is about to start growing again, although he cautioned it will be a slow recovery with continued high unemployment in the near term.
